Adventure Festival 2007

This year's festival will soon be here. So it's time to gear up and get ready for some classic outdoor events at this year's Gravity Adventure Festival 2007.

Competitors will be able to choose from a variety of exciting events such as: the Palmiet Valley Mountain Bike, Palmiet Trail Run, Quantum Adventure Challenge, Croc Downriver Race, Kayak Downriver & Sprint Race and Rock Rally Climbing Event. Our generous sponsors will be offering great prizes as usual, and as you can see below from last year's event review, the river promises to be cooking, providing much adrenalin for the competitors and plenty of thrills and spills for the spectators.

It will also be a great chance to escape chilly Cape Town for some fresh mountain air, and to explore the Bettys Bay Kleinmond and Kogelberg area. For those who don't know the area well, it has pristine mountain fynbos, the Palmiet River, plus fantastic coastline, lagoons and beaches. The Festival HQ will be based at the Palmiet Rivermouth campsite, where there will be camping available, plus there is plenty of guesthouse accommodation nearby in Kleinmond and Betty's Bay. So it will be well worth making a weekend of it. And for those who are not into excessive amounts of exercise, there will be plenty of live music, a bar and mobile restaurant on site.
